This was my first visit to Dr. Swint and I was impressed with the entire office! Everyone was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Swint was attentive to my needs and explained everything he was doing. He was gentle and professional. I will definitely be returning!

Great Basin Dental is a great office. The staff and doctors are always happy to help and very understanding. They have the best dental hygienists. I would not go to any other dentists in Elko.

Great dental office clean all the hygienist and front desk are courteous and professional,Dr. Neilson is amazing very efficient and they don’t waste your time they tell you what you need and get you in asap definitely 10/10 recommend highly. Went back on 1/10/24 for a filling,I’m so scared of any work being done on my teeth from prior dentists but Dr.Neilson and his staff are amazing they were very compassionate and gentle and didn’t make me feel dumb for being a big baby the process was so easy and they were so fast and efficient I didn’t even feel any pain highly recommend if you have anxiety or are afraid these guys are the best!!!!
They are very considerate of your time, I’m usually in my appointment within a few minutes of arriving. Love my hygienist she does a great job!

My 10 yo son had a baby tooth crack that would not come out. Dr. Swint was gentle, kind and personable. He made it painless and quick but also made sure my son feel comfortable. Great office!
Melissa has been cleaning mine and my husband's teeth for years and she always does an excellent job! On occasion, when I've had to see someone else, I've had good experiences as well. This was my first time seeing Dr. Swint and he was kind, and gentle on my mouth. The front desk personnel is helpful and friendly, and the office is clean. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

I had such a great experience, I’m usually very nervous going to the dentist but the staff was so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. I was in and out very quickly and very impressed with the work done! I would recommend them to anyone in Elko or the surrounding areas. I’m from Ely but I plan on coming back for other dental work in the future. So glad I chose this office!
In my three visits to Great Basin Dental, I’ve received excellent treatment and service. I was particularly impressed during my last visit with the competence of the team and with the patient coaching by the dentist toward his hygienist assistant during the procedure. I have literally been to so many dental offices in Colorado, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada that I am more than qualified to say Dr. Neilson is the best dentist I've ever seen. I'm old as dirt now so my visits were for dentures. He is amazing and the staff is the friendliest ever! There was not one issue with my billing, insurance, or getting questions answered on anything. In fact they addressed everything before I knew to ask which is a far cry from all the other dental offices I had the misfortune to be a patient at. I love this office and so does my husband Lucien. Any dental phobias will melt away, and you will enjoy the friendly, fun atmosphere.

I have had many bad experiences with dentists. After moving to Elko I wanted to make sure that didn’t happen again. And Dr Neilson is the right guy. He is wonderful. I had a root canal and crown. During the process my mother died. They worked with me on scheduling. They are always helpful. I would recommend this office to anyone I meet.

Was traveling from West Sacramento, Ca to Elko for the long 4th of July weekend when one of my crowns popped out. I was able to get an appt on Fri am to have the crown re-cemented on. Wonderful Dentist and Asst. Very professional and knowledgeable.
