Dr. Clayton Neilson, a native Nevadan, earned his Doctoral degree in Dental Medicine at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. He attended the College of Southern Nevada and Southern Utah University for his undergraduate studies. Dr. Neilson and his wife Jessica, have two children, Clara and Evelyn. The family enjoys hiking the Ruby Mountains and going on road trips. His personal interests include motorcycle riding and backpacking.
Dr. Daniel Swint, along with his family, recently relocated from the central Texas area to Elko. Originally hailing from Las Vegas, NV, he finds the contrasting landscape of Elko, with its outdoors, the Ruby Mountains, and small-town charm, to be both refreshing and exciting. Graduating from UNLV School of Dental Medicine in 2018, Dr. Swint has been dedicated to enhancing not only the field of dentistry but also the overall patient experience. Outside of work, he enjoys activities such as reading, watching football, golfing, snowboarding, and exploring alongside his wife, Danielle, and their four children: Riley, Justin, Luke, and Mackenzie.
As a fourth-generation native Nevadan, I grew up in Mountain City. There my family owned and operated Tremewan’s Store. Working in the store as a young girl, it became apparent that I would best function in a profession where I could deal directly with people. After graduating from Elko High School, I went on to attend Boise State University and later Carroll College in Helena, Montana where I graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dental Hygiene. I have practiced hygiene in the Elko community for many years, having spent the past seventeen with Dr. Price, and now also Dr. Neilson. As a wife, mother of 2 adult sons and a proud grandmother to a beautiful 4-year-old girl, I enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time with my family in the great outdoors.
Up until high school graduation my home was Spanish Fork, Utah. Before serving a two-year mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I attended Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Upon returning home, I finished undergraduate course work in preparation for hygiene school at Utah Valley University. Once accepted into the dental hygiene program at Dixie State College, I met my lovely wife-to-be Melissa and we planned our future together. After graduation, we moved to Spring Creek, Nevada and began practicing dental hygiene in the area, where we have resided for the last 13 years. We enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time with our 2 boys doing various outdoor hobbies.
Growing up in California, my father was a practicing dentist which sparked my interest in the field as a young child. I completed undergraduate course work at the University of Nevada Reno and went on to achieve a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University. Working as a hygienist brings me great joy because I love working with people of all ages, those with special needs, and the Spanish speaking community. My husband, five children and I live on a ranch near Wells, Nevada. I have lived in Elko County for 27 years, and 22 of those years I have worked with Dr. Price. I love family time, riding, and winter sports.
After attending Pleasant Grove High School near Lindon, Utah I went on to attend Dixie State College in pursuit of a degree in dental hygiene. My interest in dentistry began as a young child. Going to the dentist was always a fun activity and it has been my professional goal to provide that same experience for my patients and their children. During my time at Dixie, I met classmates and future husband Chad Marrott who was also studying hygiene. As graduation drew near, we made plans for marriage and relocation to the Elko area. My husband and I have now lived and practiced hygiene here for the past thirteen years. We have been blessed with two beautiful boys, ten-year-old Chase, and six-year-old Bridger. My interests outside of the office include running, biking, spending time with my family, and enjoying outdoor activities.
Growing up in Winnemucca, NV and graduating from Lowry High School instilled a love, early on, for living in Nevada. After attending the University of Nevada-Reno through a Cheerleading scholarship and working as a dental assistant, I transferred to the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon to obtain my Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2009. My husband and I moved to the Elko area in 2015 and have two VERY busy little boys. We enjoy all things outdoors and love to include our children in our hunting, fishing, camping and snowmobiling adventures.
